This week I went back to the school I went to in the first place.First of all, I helped the children with their lessons. We did their mathematics homework together and I supported their question solutions. At the same time, we played the game of Ludo with them. In this way, we make their learning educational and entertaining.
I learned that each child has different characteristics and that each one is individually valuable. One loves painting, one loves music, one loves sports. Even twin brothers and sisters are very different from each other. That's what makes them special.
I helped them with math while I learned Bulgarian numbers and some Bulgarian terms in math. At the same time we sang and danced with them in Turkish, English and Bulgarian. In this way, we have achieved cross-cultural interaction through songs.
But sometimes things don't work out. A child did not want to do his lessons and cried. Sometimes I felt helpless when they wanted to do nothing and cried. Because I have limited communication with them. But national volunteer helped me in this and many more. Thus, my communication with the children also helped in the role of the bridge.
