This week we did various activities with the children for Easter. We supported their development with artistic activities, painting Easter eggs and drawing pictures together.
I learned that art therapies are very effective for children with special needs apart from rehabilitation education. I have seen them focus and calm down better while drawing and painting. That's why I think that these trainings contribute a lot to their development and that every special child needs these trainings.
This week at the same time we prepared for Easter with the children. However, I have also done some research on this Easter. I learned that Easter is the oldest and most important holiday in Christianity. That is why Easter was celebrated with great care in Bulgaria. It was a nice experience to witness the feast of a different religion and culture.
