During the last month of the Erasmus program, we had the honor and pleasure, together with the volunteers, to participate in the summer school of the RCPPPO. One of the most valuable features of the summer program was the individual approach to each child. Each child with SEN has their own unique needs and skills, and it is essential to take these differences into account when planning learning and fun activities. The experience was incredibly fun and exciting for all involved. Each day was filled with varied and interesting activities that the children looked forward to.
In addition to the summer program, Ayşe also organizes a Turkish cultural evening. As a true enthusiast, she always loves to introduce her culture to others. With the strong belief that understanding and respecting different cultures and traditions is of great importance to enrich our knowledge and create a harmonious society. Ayşe prepared a well-structured cultural evening dedicated to Turkish culture. On this special day, we all learned more about Turkish traditions. With interest, everyone tried different delicious dishes and was excited by the diversity of Turkish cuisine.
With the end of July comes the end of the project. The Erasmus volunteering experience was incredibly enriching and full of unforgettable moments. I am grateful for the opportunity to be involved in educational and cultural initiatives that help young people develop their skills and potential. The program inspired me to be more tolerant and understanding of the diversity of cultures and societies. The friendships and moments made were one of the most valuable things about the experience
