As a volunteer of NARU, I had the opportunity to visit a Complex Program in Occupational Therapy and Sensory Integration. I had the opportunity to learn firsthand about the challenges faced by children with disabilities. I think it helped broaden my perspective on diversity and sustainability. It has been a rewarding experience for me that offers many benefits. This allowed me to develop my communication and interpersonal skills, adapt my approach to different needs and provide support in a respectful and patient way. These skills are valuable not only in the context of the program, but also in various other personal and professional spheres.
